Up and Running
From unboxing, pairing, and team onboarding, we'll walk you through everything you need to get your terminal configured correctly and ready for daily operations.

How it works
Just 15 Minutes. 3 Easy Steps. One Ready-to-Use Terminal.
Follow these simple steps to connect your device, set up your customer rewards program, and add your team.

Get Your Terminal Ready

To start setting up your terminal, go to your Business Panel, open the Terminal tab, and click Start Setup.

Connect your Denefits Terminal to its charger and switch it on.

Follow the on-screen instructions on the terminal to connect to your Wi-Fi network, then click Continue to proceed.

Now, enter the code shown on the terminal to pair your device with the panel, then click Pair Terminal.

Create a 4-digit Admin PIN that you'll use to log in to the terminal going forward.

The terminal will now update automatically. Please wait while the software installation completes.

In the final step, sign in with your Denefits Admin Account. When the Connected screen appears, your terminal is successfully paired.

Customize Fee Settings & Rewards
Manage Fee Offsets
The next step takes you to the Offset Fees screen. Here, you can customize how the platform fee is divided. You can share up to 3% of the fee with customers and choose whether it's shown during checkout or only on the receipt. These settings can be updated at any time. When you have finalized your selections, click Save to move forward.

Build Your Rewards
Want to give customers a reason to come back? With the Denefits Terminal, you can create four customizable reward types that help increase engagement and encourage repeat business.
Video Testimonial Reward
Customer video reviews help showcase real experiences and strengthen trust in your business. Simply click Create Reward, enter a title, choose a theme color that reflects your brand, and use the live preview to see your reward take shape. Click Save when you're ready.
Community Engagement Reward
Encourage customers to engage with your brand online. Enter a reward title, add your social media links, select a brand color, and check the preview. The terminal will generate a QR code that customers can scan to follow your social channels in seconds.
Local Presence Reward
Increase your local presence by giving customers a simple way to check in on Google or Yelp. Add your review links, choose the look and feel, and click Save to get started.
Word-of-Mouth Reward
Give customers an easy way to recommend your business through a Referral Reward. Simply add a title, select a theme color, and save your reward.

Onboard Your Team
Add staff to the terminal
Under the Manage Users section, click Set Up and select Add New User.
Set up user credentials
Enter the user's name and email address, then assign a role that matches their responsibilities. You can also generate a unique passcode for terminal access.
Manage user access
Choose the permissions you'd like this user to have. Their access will be limited to the features and actions you authorize.
Update user access anytime
After the user is created, they'll appear in your team dashboard. From there, you can edit their details, update permissions, remove access, or resend their passcode at any time.
